Sublimation and our Mexico Beach Pier Collection

Good morning everyone!  We hope you are enjoying all of our new items that we are currently adding to our store and some old favorites as well.  It seems so far the response to the new store has been positive.  We wanted to share with y'all a couple of new things...well quite a few new items that we have released in what we are calling our "Mexico Beach Pier Collection".  These items are made using state of the art sublimation techniques by our distributors.  You may have heard of sublimation before (or it's other terms like dye-sub or dye sublimation) but you might know now what it is or how it works.  Simply put, sublimation is a process by which  sublimation dyes are printed onto a transfer medium with a specially prepared inkjet printer. Thereafter, those dyes are then transferred from the medium to an object or garment under the heat and pressure delivered by a commercial heat press. Sublimation only works on garments made of polyester, or on specialty objects made of polyester or given a polyester coating. When the heat and pressure are applied, the dye on the transfer medium sublimates, or becomes a gas, and is then absorbed into the polyester itself; the print is actually a part of the garment/coating. It doesn’t fade easily, wear, or have any texture or weight.

Now with that brief overview of Sublimation out of the way...back to what you really want to know about....our new Collection!  We have created our Mexico Beach Pier Collection.  This collection includes many sublimated items ranging from Home and Decoration items such as, Canvas', Throw Pillows, Blankets and Posters.  We also have bath items like shower curtains and bath mats and soon we will have full bath / beach towels as well....we are still working on the image for that one and it has to be a pretty high quality image in order to be sublimated properly on the item.  The last few products we have are kitchen items which include, Large Coffee Mugs, Water Bottles, Travel Thermoses and Latte Cups.  We will be adding more items in the future so be on the lookout.

This collection is great for your beach house or just if Mexico Beach held a special place in your heart.  You will always be able to relive the old Mexico Beach while you are enjoying the new Mexico Beach that we are currently rebuilding.

Thanks again for all of your support and stay #MexicoBeachStrong!
